Senior Civil-Architect Technician

Position summary
ONE-M is looking for a Senior Civil-Architect Technician to support site supervision, technical coordination, drawing review, and construction documentation. The role works closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure civil and architectural works are properly coordinated, accurately executed, and documented throughout construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers and project managers in supervising civil and architectural works on site.
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, architectural details, finishes, and relevant coordination drawings.
- Check site dimensions, levels, locations, installation details, and workmanship against approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate civil and architectural interfaces with structural and MEP works to identify and resolve clashes or constructability issues.
- Assist with inspections of materials, mock-ups, samples, finishing works, and completed construction.
- Prepare site mark-ups, sketches, measurement records, inspection records, punch lists, and progress documentation.
- Monitor contractors' rectification of defects and non-conforming work and report progress to the responsible engineer or Project Manager.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining drawing registers, revisions, RFIs, shop drawings, and other construction records.
- Support quantity verification and site measurement where required.
- Prepare or update CAD drawings, record drawings, and as-built information based on actual site conditions.
- Support testing, handover inspections, defect inspections, and close-out documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support consistent documentation and site-inspection standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Higher Vocational Certificate, or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil and architectural construction, site supervision, or construction consultancy.
- Strong ability to read civil, structural, architectural, and coordination drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction detailing, finishes, materials, workmanship standards, and site-inspection procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit/BIM experience is an advantage.
- Experience preparing or reviewing shop drawings, site mark-ups, as-built drawings, and construction records.
- Good measurement, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and site teams.
- Basic English communication and ability to understand technical terminology are an advantage.
- Able to work at project sites in Bangkok and other provinces as required.
