Civil Engineer

Position summary
ONE-M is looking for a Civil Engineer to support construction supervision and project delivery. The role focuses on monitoring civil and structural works, reviewing technical submissions, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review approved construction drawings, specifications, BOQ requirements, and relevant contract documents.
- Inspect and monitor civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, construction standards, and accepted engineering practices.
- Review contractors' shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and as-built drawings within the assigned discipline.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, site activities, and relevant quality tests.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, structural, contractor, and other project teams to resolve site coordination issues.
- Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule and report delays, constraints, and potential risks to the Project Manager.
- Participate in site inspections, coordination meetings, progress meetings, and quality meetings.
- Identify non-conforming work and assist in issuing and following up corrective actions, NCRs, punch lists, and defect rectification.
- Verify completed work and site quantities as required to support progress-payment review.
- Maintain site records, inspection records, photographs, reports, and technical documentation.
- Assist with testing, handover inspections, as-built documentation, and project close-out activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building construction, construction supervision, or construction consultancy.
- Valid Thai engineering professional licence is preferred.
- Good knowledge of civil and structural construction methods, drawings, specifications, materials, and quality-control procedures.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and related engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
- Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate in English at a working level is an advantage.
- Able to work at project sites in Bangkok and other provinces as required.
